| An abstract expressionist and surrealist painter, whose original canvasses have been featured in galleries from Palm Beach, FLA., to Philadelphia, PA., is a graduate of the American University film program.
Rassin’s work as an innovator in the ad/entertainment arena has earned him recognition in Daily Variety, Adweek, CNN, The Washington Post, and a bevy of other publications, domestic and international.
Turning his attentions towards painting a few, short years ago, Laurance’s unyielding creative energy has afforded him the opportunity to develop a unique, idyllic approach to painting that on countless occasions has been likened to a cross between Picasso, Mattise, and Chagal.
“My canvases are clearly & absolutely the complete expression of the incomplete intellect,” Rassin jokes. “I see my art as a medium to work through life’s challenges. Because I rarely use brushes, I feel the paint like say a child would, however, with less wit, slightly.”
Laurance also fronts the rock band, “The Jones Patrol,” and is recording a debut album, entitled, The Jones Patrol-Good Looking Out!” |
