Rassin devotes twenty hours a day to painting, and rarely ever leaves his studio. His efforts have been received with applause and recognition as the next wave of great contemporary Expressionism. Langham & Company will host a cocktail exhibition, opening night Thursday May 18th 6pm to 9pm at 153 East 60th Street. What sets Rassin apart is his ability to create an overarching narrative throughout his over 400 completed works. Each newly constructed piece is part of the entire series. His lively paintings vary from interior scenes and individual portraits to the religiously inspired, all of which are scrupulously textured sometimes exceeding 50 layers of paint and composed of vivid colors.
